About

I am Tito Jaramillo, a software engineer who graduated from UDLA (Quito, 2026). Since 2024 I work at Fisa Group fixing incidents in Java and .NET banking systems on Oracle, and explaining to clients what happened and why. Before that I was an intern at the same company and a teaching assistant at the university.

Outside work I am building a financial portfolio platform for a private client: Spring Modulith, Angular, Keycloak, PostgreSQL. I develop it with a team of Claude Code agents under an orchestrator, and it is where I have learned the most about architecture and about working with AI without losing control of the code.

Where I am going. I want to study AI properly. The next step is a master’s degree, and what interests me most is neural-network interpretability: understanding what happens inside a model, not just what comes out. In the meantime I study the fundamentals on my own and publish here what I come to understand.

What I enjoy. Java/Spring backend work and teams building AI solutions. Outside my job I take on freelance projects for web applications and small-business sites.

Fun fact. I grew up helping my father on the farm. I know what a day of work before sunrise is, and that has never left me.
